So Brett Favre retires, again. The only thing Favre has more than interceptions thrown is retirement press conferences. Call me silly though, but I believe with only a little doubt, that this is truly the end.
It has been an amazing career. One with pratfalls and completions. He gave us cheers, frustration, and a bunch of moments in between. There is no doubt that he will be regarded as on of the greatest to throw a football. His legacy is a rich one.
Here is but a brief look into one of the more memorable careers in sports.
10. Favre Begins His Illustrious Career
1 of 10On September 20, 1992 Favre began a career that would be typified by grit and determination. He had played in previous games before this with Atlanta and even in Green bay for then injured Don Majkowski. This was the game that would give sports fans insight into what Brett Favre was made out of.
After replacing a hobbled Majkowski, Favre quickly fumbled the ball. He then fumbled a few more times. Amidst boos and a confident Bengal defense, Favre initiated a come from behind victory. He solidified it with a Touchdown pass to Kitrick Taylor.

8. Winning His First Playoff Game

Many Packer fans will have their misgivings about how and where Favre ended his career but they cannot ignore what he did for their franchise. Before Favre's emergence, the Packers were in the doldrums. Just two short years after his initial win against Cincinnati, Favre was leading the Packers to their first playoff win in eleven years.

That season is remembered for his game in November against the Bears. One week removed from an ankle injury, he lit up the Bears' defense for over 300 yards. No one could play hurt like Favre.

Brett Favre always had a flair for the dramatic. It was always so much more special when he was doing it in the green and yellow of the Packers' uniform.
On September 26th 1999, he did just that against the then arch-rival Minnesota Vikings. With only moments left in the game. Favre threw a 23 yard pass to Corey Bradford to seal the comeback.
