Buffalo Bills To Release DE Aaron Schobel

Tony SantorsaAug 2, 2010

According to WBEN.com, the Buffalo Bills will "move on" without defensive end Aaron Schobel.

At Bills' training camp today, Buffalo Bills' General Manager, Buddy Nix, commented on Schobel's status: "Aaron has been contemplating retirement for the past seven months, but we are at the point where we are moving forward and have informed his agent of our plans,"

It is expected that Buffalo will release the two time Pro Bowler sometime this week according to sources around the league.

It will be interesting where Schobel will decide to play, if he doesn't retire. But, I'm sure he will sign with a contender.
