News And Notes...Giants Bulluck Making Noise

Martellus Bennett has not mad any noise on the field so far this training camp due to an ankle injury however off the field he is making headlines. A photo of the Cowboys tight end exposing himself is now on the internet for everyone to see. Bennett was a man when responding to the photo  “These pictures were taken four years ago and placed on the internet without my knowledge or consent...I understand that they are totally inappropriate and for that I am sorry. I regret the embarrassment it has caused the organization.. A naked photo online is never good however Bennett better get ready to play some football because John Phillips is having a great camp so far. Phillips has been doing a good job blocking and catching the ball and should get some snaps at full back this season. Bennett needs to get back on the field once his ankle is better and start making some big time plays so everyone will forget about his nude photo. 

Great news at Cowboys camp is that the "Pad Gate" is almost over. This story was a gift to the media and they ran with it. What is better than a underachieving starting wide receiver who tells a stud first round rookie to carry his pads and the rookie says no. Wow it was almost to good to be true however the story is almost over and both Roy and Dez are having a good camp. However no matter if you think Dez was right or wrong he may not be carrying pads, however he will be buying some dinners or something for some of the veterans by the end of camp. 

The Cowboys pass rush is going to be scary this season. Everyone knows about Ware and Ratliff and Spencer however their are more guys who can get to the quarterback. Bowen and Hatcher are having good camps and Brandon Williams is showing everyone that he has the speed to be huge threat of the edge. The Cowboys look likes they could lead the league in sack in 2010.
