Cleveland Browns: What Will They Look Like This Season?
Training camp starts July 31st in Berea, Ohio for the Cleveland Browns. This will mark the first season in the Mike Holmgren era.
Although Holmgren isn't going to be the coach, he's been given the keys to the organization with one goal.
To win.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Winning is something Browns fans aren't accustomed to, since returning to the league in 1999. The Browns have had two winning seasons and only one playoff appearance since their return.
Last season, under coach Eric Mangini's first year as coach, the Browns started off a dreadful 1-11 and then something amazing happened. They won the last four games. After competing for the worst record in the league, the Browns bought into Mangini's system and finished the season on a strong note. Those four games included a victory over hated rival, Pittsburgh Steelers.
Browns fans had a reason to be optimistic going into the offseason and that optimism continued when Mike Holmgren was hired as team president. Holmgren decided to keep the coaching staff and hired former Eagles GM Tom Heckert to fill the same roll with the Browns.
Once the front office staff was in place, it was time to work on the roster.
It is well documented that Holmgren believes that quarterback is the most important position on the team and for good reason. Obviously he didn't like what he saw in Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn, so they were removed from the team.
Brought in were veterans Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace.
Delhomme is expected to be the starter, even though he's coming off a much talked about horrible season. The Browns are counting on him to bounce back while Seneca is there to back him up.
The Browns continued improving in free agency by adding linebacker Scott Fujita. Fujita was the defensive captain of the Super Bowl winning New Orleans Saints and brings a lot of talent and leadership to a growing Cleveland defense.
They also added another former Super Bowl champion, tight end Ben Watson. Watson, who caught five touchdowns last year for the Patriots, will come in and start at a position that was a big question mark last season for the Browns.
The Browns added another big name veteran when they traded for CB Sheldon Brown. Coming over from the Eagles, Brown had one of the best seasons of his career last year. His five interceptions in '09 were the highest in his career.
The secondary was the weakest spot on the Browns defense last season. But Brown will join rising star Eric Wright and 7th overall draft pick Joe Haden.
Speaking of the draft, the Browns had two picks in the 2nd round. They were used on S TJ Ward (38th overall) and RB Montario Hardesty (59th overall).
Some thought that Ward was a reach in the early second round, but GM Tom Heckert loved his ability. Ward is known for his mind-numbing blows, but is also considered a liability in coverage. The Browns worked Ward out during his private workouts and saw that he had the athletic ability to cover in the NFL.
When the Browns moved into the 2nd round and drafted Montario Hardesty it came as a big surprise. Mostly because running back Jerome Harrison was the main reason the Browns were able to win the last four games of the season.
But the Browns didn't think Harrison, who stands 5'9 and weighs 205 lbs, could last throughout a 16 game season. So they drafted Hardesty, who ran for 1,345 yards and 13 touchdowns at Tennessee last year.
With the additions of rookies Joe Haden, TJ Ward and Montario Hardesty along with veterans Jake Delhomme, Sheldon Brown, Scott Fujita and Ben Watson, the Browns roster should be much more talented.
And hopefully more successful.
