NFL Training Camp News: Wes Welker Hurting, Bengals Sign Terrell Owens

Even though most training camps have yet to begin, there are plenty of NFL veterans already dealing with injuries. The Patriots placed wide receiver Wes Welker on the Physically Unable to Perform list Tuesday as he continues to recover from his knee injury. Elsewhere, the Ravens announced that rookie Sergio Kindle is not expected to participate in training camp. Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora was hoping for a bounce-back season, however there is growing concern over his nagging hip injury.
