Aretha Franklin said it better than most folks: Think . She continued, "You better think about what you are trying to do...." In this case, you better think about what you are writing about the Oakland Raiders.

This year, if false assumptions are going to be made, a cadre of very good writers are prepared, I believe, to write a point-counterpoint essay or article to provide an opposite opinion to the false opinions and perceptions.

This year is going to be challenging because there are too many indicators that point to the Raiders rising up again. The trolls, enemies, and opponents of the Oakland Raiders will hit the B/R page with their nonsense. Once a team is down to a 5-11 record, the opponents are going to want to keep them down. Not so!

The Oakland Raiders are ready to think on the playing field. Al Davis's team is ready to win more games in 2010.
