International MMA Expo Announces First Ever Expo in Colorado with Fight Card

Todd JacksonJul 23, 2010

The International Mixed Martial Arts Exposition is excited to announce its first ever expo and trade show in Colorado. Offering Colorado fight fans an absolutely stacked weekend of MMA competition, displays, and activities, this looks to be a weekend to remember.

Beginning Saturday July 24 and ending Sunday July 25, the IMMAE is looking to bring a full array of MMA aspects to the table at the Ritchie Center of the University of Denver.

Everything ranging from MMA superstars in attendance, submission grappling tournaments, apparel and supplement vendors, to a full fight card, will be on display for those fortunate enough to make this event.

This event boasts a little something for everyone, whether they are a fighter or fan.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet world class fighters in attendance such as the UFC’s Nate Marquardt, Brendan Schaub, Chris Comozzi, and Bellator’s Brian Baker.

Many well known merchants will be in attendance offering merchandise at a discount, so fans can load up on everything MMA.

As mentioned before, there will be a live MMA event showcasing 14 fights. A submission grappling tournament, and various demonstrations both in a cage and on the mats throughout the weekend.

The fight event itself is a cooperative effort between King of Champions and Fight To Win promotions. The two organizations have brought together a stunning fight card featuring one amateur and three pro title fights.

The world class Grudge Training Center will be well represented with nine competitors on display. Other camps in attendance include Silverback MMA, Zingano BJJ, Ground Zero MMA, and many many more.

Jamie Addie, the founder and Partner at King of Champions Promotions had this to say: “KOC is pumped about being a lead sponsor of this event! This is an all out MMA weekend bash with all of the MMA superstars you would expect! And wait ‘til our fans see this fight card! MMA fans will not have the opportunity to attend a weekend long event like this for a long time!”

Seth Daniels, founder and principal of Fight to Win, was quoted as saying, “Fight to Win is proud to bring the number one grappling tournament in Colorado to the IMMAE Expo, we expect it to be a real treat for our loyal fans, and new comers to the sport alike.”

Daniels went on to say, “We’re also excited as hell to be co-promoting the number one MMA fight card of the year with KOC. KOC’s and FTW’s current fan bases, along with thousands of Expo attendees, will have the chance to see the best MMA fight card of 2010, up close and personal!”

Brian Jaus, President and CEO of IMMAE stated, “We are unbelievably excited and energized to be hosting the first ever MMA trade show in Colorado, at the University of Denver’s Ritchie Center.”

Jaus added, “Colorado has an enormous MMA fan base and an active lifestyle demographic in general. We expect these factors, along with our depth of experience with MMA expositions, to come together and create awesome event which we will all remember for a long time!”

All in all the ingredients are perfect for a memorable weekend of MMA activities. If you are a casual fan or hardcore fan this event is one you don't want to miss if you find yourself in the area.

Tickets to the event start at $20 for a single day or $30 for both days. Tickets to the fight range from $30 to $50.
