John Cena The Time is Now !

At summerslam we are goin to see a team lead by john cena take on the nexus and the more and more i think about it i feel john cena is the name going to join the nexus.

Alot of rumors have been going about recently about who is going to be the next member of nexus and believe it or not john cena's name has been mentioned. The other name going about is triple H and even though it could work out well with triple h joining nexus i feel if wwe really want this group to work out and go down with the likes of the NWO,DX and Evolution they need something different in this group. Having triple H join just wouldnt be big enough in my eyes, he has led DX and formed evolution and if memory serves right in evolution the 2 superstars he groomed ended up as enimies so why would his character take the risk. So even tough a returning triple h joining nexus would be good at first in the long term i dont see it working out.

If the wwe are looking at having cena join up with nexus the first thing they have to do is make sure the group does not get sucked into the whole john cena thing, i mean why would wade let him join if he was goin to pushed off his spot as top dog and it will also make a group that is looking so strong at the minute look very weak. The whole nexus concept is to take the wwe by storm and do something nobody dared do before not have john cena and his 7 run in guys. I feel if john does join he would be a joint leader with wade this would be very interesting because it would cement barret as a serious superstar and it also sets up a future reason for the nexus to fold with a power struggle between john and wade.

The majority opinion on this is altough john cena is very stale at the minute and is in a huge need of a heel turn, the wwe wont do it as he is over with the target audience and makes them ahuge amount of money. Well just have a look back, all the great's have pulled of a heel turn, the biggest being hulk hogan joining the nwo and johns situation is very similar. The rock was a top draw and made money but he had a heel turn, stone cold steve austin was the face of the wwe in the 90's and also made tons of money had a heel turn and not only did he turn heel he turned into a guy who stood for everything the old stone cold had not, this worked.

I think if the wwe want cena to go down as a great he has to prove he can pull this off! The thing about this heel turn is now is the time to do it! With randy orton being so over with all the wwe universe i think its time to see if the viper can carry the company, looking at randys face turn; he getting great pops from the crowd but as long as cena is top face hes always going to be considered 2nd draw. At the minute they are making randy look cool week in week out then losing his title shots and his number one contenders matches. WWE should seriously consider leeeting randy have a shot a the top face, this can let them have a shot with heel cena and if they both fail itl be just as easy to switch them back considering thier characters. 

Heres a quick note does anyone else think cenas team for summerslam looks weak? Hes got edge and jericho but why would he call on a guy who wont wreslte, a giant comedy act and 2 midcarders who havnt done anything serious?

Think the miz and evan bourne should of been involved!
