Kane Wins World Title and Bret Hart Returns To WWE To Face Nexus

The Doctor Chris MuellerJul 20, 2010

Kane won two matches this past Sunday, The Money in the Bank match for Smackdown, and then later he cashed it in to win the World Heavyweight Title from Rey Mysterio.

Kane has been one of the only superstars to ever hold a World Title for a single day and never win one again. Now that has all changed.

I don't want to be cocky here, but I called this months ago. I was one of the only people who thought Kane was a future World Champion at the time. I have always liked and supported Kane and felt he was misused most of his career.

His current storyline may end with him losing the title to The Undertaker, but until then I will enjoy seeing the big red monster reign supreme over smackdown.

Another surprise the WWE universe got was the return of Bret Hart last night on Raw.

John Cena said he has been quietly forming a team to battle Nexus, and that at Summerslam the two teams would face off.

Cena introduced Edge, Jericho, Khali, R-Truth, Morrison, and none other than The Hitman.

The Hitman was the last man out and received a huge ovation. He was last seen being beaten by Nexus and thrown into the back of a limo, which repeatedly crashed.

His return may make some wonder why he was gone in the first place. It was supposedly due to his insurance provider being unhappy with the amount of in-ring work he had been doing.

Either that was not the case, or he got it settled. Whatever the case is, I'm happy Bret is back.

His presence adds to the value of Raw, and hopefully he will have more interaction after Summerslam.

So what do you guys think of Kane winning the gold and Bret's return?
