WWE vs TNA: Vince McMahon vs Hulk Hogan
Hey guys, this is my first article here on Bleacher Report, so lets get started.
Ever since the 4th of January when Hulk Hogan announced he was going to join Tna wrestling WWE started to take TNA serious for the first time, before Hogan joined McMahon never seen TNA as a competition.
However, as Hogan arrived so did so many other top names in Pro Wrestling including Mr Anderson (aka Ken Kennedy), Rob van Dam (current TNA World Heavyweight Champion), Ric Flair and the extreme enigma Jeff Hardy.
So for the first time in over 8 years war is back in Pro Wrestling. Below I have put some of the big names in TNA and some of the big names in WWE in matches and called a winner.
If you have a different opinion to mine please leave a comment.
TNA WHC Rob van Dam vs WWE WHC Rey Mysterio
These two men are former tag team partners and former tag team champions.
They are both well capable of putting on an excellent show. Rob captured his title in single action vs the phenomenol AJ Styles a couple of months back on TNA.
Rey got his second World Championship in a fatal four way at WWE latest pay per view. The other 3 men in that match were Jack Swagger, The Big Show and CM Punk.
If these two ever squared off I imagine it would be a very unpredictable, high-flying and exciting match.
Winner: Its very hard one to call. No doubt about it i would definitly be cheering for Rob. However Rey would probly win it.
Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle vs Two Time all American Jack Swagger
Kurt Angle spent years in the WWE where he won numerous championships before being recruited to TNA.
Recently its like WWE are trying to make Swagger into Kurt Angle by giving him Angles trademark finisher “the ankle lock” and by doing some dirty things in the ring and backstage the type of shenanigans Kurt does do as a heel.
I would love to see this match as it would be like a race to see who could apply the ankle lock quicker.
Also, to be honest any match Kurt is in is normally always a good one.
Winner: In my mind the veteran Kurt Angle would come out on top but it would be a great entertaining technical match.
The Phenom The Undertaker vs The Icon Sting
Sting is certainly one of the best pro wrestlers ever and considering he never spent any time at all in the WWE that could probably be why.
In his time with WCW and TNA he has won numerous championships and has been in blockbuster matches.
The Undertaker, I dont really need to say to much here as 18-0 at Wrestlemania speaks for itself and also the fact that he retired Shawn Micheals.
Its very doubtful we will ever see these two in the same company never mind the same match but oh my god it would be a real treat to see these two legends go against each other.
Winner: I would imagine Undertaker would win but if Sting had his signature baseball bat in his hand it would be a totally different match.
The Big Red Machine Kane vs The Monster Abyss
Could you just for 1 minute imagine these two in a monsters ball match! Now that would be chaotic.
Kane is a former WWE champion and is the kayfabe brother of the man I mentioned above The Undertaker.
Abyss is a former TNA champion (When the belt was known as the NWA Championship). Abyss is also known for his obsession with nails and hurting people and more recently even GLASS ... yikes.
Winner: Theres only one uncontrollable mad monsterious S.O.B and thats Kane WCW could not change that TNA wont either and Abyss certainly wont.
The phenomenal Aj Styles vs Straight Edge Society leader CM Punk
Cm Punk has great martial arts moves among other dangerous offensive moves in his arsenal and has won the Money In The Bank ladder match two years in a row and has also one a couple of World titles’s too.
The phenomenal Aj Styles he is a very talented wrestler who can beat anyone in WWE or TNA with his spectacular high risk moves in my opinion. To date he is the longest serving TNA world champ ever.
Winner : Aj Styles would come out on top. This would be much like the RVD vs Rey match.
Samoa Joe vs Chris Jericho in a Submission Match.
The Samoan bulldozer has won numerous championships with TNA and is in the prime of his career.
Ever since his kidnapping he has developed an even more dangerous side of him believe it or not.
Chris Jericho is veteran in the WWE he is most known for breaking records. Most reigns as Intercontinental Champion and the first ever Undisputed Champion beating Austin and The Rock in the one night.
These two in a submission match would be brilliant.
Winner: Samoa Joe for one reason Jericho is not the man he was a few years ago. He has not had a decent title run in a while and has turned into a jobber for Evan Bourne i think Joe would beat him.
Out of the 6 matches its 3-3. I did not favour anyone and I tried to call it down the middle.
Please leave a comment and let me know your opinion.
