WWE, Please Save Your Divas... SOON!!

    The WWE Divas! "Smart, Sexy, Powerful" is what they call them. The current Divas features the lites of Michelle McCool, Layla, Maryse, Eve, Alicia Fox, and Kelly Kelly.

    Now let's look at the Divas from the WWF Attitude/WWE Ruthless Aggression Era. During this time we had Trish Stratus, Lita, Chyna, Molly Holly, Sable, and Victoria.

    What if these people had a 6-on-6 tag team elimination match at survivor series? The PG Divas or the Attitude/Ruthless Divas? If you said the Attitude/Ruthless divas would win, your right by a LONG shot!

    Back then, we had one of the best WWE fueds of all time (Trish Stratus & Lita) while having Chyna ripping threw the whole Divas division PLUS the men's division as well. We also had Victoria shaving Molly Holly's head in front of the whole world at Wrestlemania 20. If that's not good enough for you, then we had a multi-time Playboy covergirl known as Sable!

    Now, we have poor, quick matches not even worth watching. Yes, they maybe sexy but that's not the only thing we want to see. I'm sure everyone can agree that we want to see sexy divas that can actually wrestle and put on a good show at the same time. They did it in the past, how come they can't do it now? I don't really see why either. If WWE actually focused on divas a little more, they can make thier divas more talented and actually worth watching. Sometimes, when the divas wrestle, I take that time to do other things. The other night when Alicia Fox defended her title against Eve on Raw, for some reason I actually had hope that this would be a decent match. The match ended in 2 minutes with Alicia Fox faking a leg injury but coming out of nowhere and finished Eve off with an Ax Kick. I was extremely disappointed that they can't even put on a match for the Divas Title. Since WWE is so high on the Divas Champion, how come they cant make her a good wrestler? Do they not know how to used the Divas anymore?

    Currently, they believe it or not actually have a roster that could succeed if they could reach their potential. If you look at it, they have good wrestlers. Maryse could be the perfect heel if she could train a little more and have better talent in the ring. She has great mic skills but lacks in-ring talent. LayCool could be a dominant team but they haven't reached their potential yet either. Gail Kim is probably one of the most misused talent in the ring today. On her first run in WWE, she was Women's Champion and when she was in TNA, she won the gold as well. What has she done since coming back to WWE? NOTHING which is just sad. Beth Phoenix is the powerhouse in the division but is currently out becuase of injury but when she comes back, I want her to come back like Chyna did in 2001 with Ivory and get revenge and have a nice reign as Women's Champion again. The returning Melina could help this division alot being the one of the best faces there. I expect her to win the title back again and I want her to teach the rest of the Divas how to reach their potential and have the creative team refocus on the divas. Hopefully, she returns arouns Summerslam and wins the title there with a good match. If Serena would wrestle soon then we could have a change in the division. I think she could be very successful and dominant as well. If SES wants to rule Smackdown! they should rule the Divas Division as well with Serena with the Women's Title. The last person that could be a success in her career is of course Natalyia. She has wrestling in her blood! Since she does, if she starts her own wrestling career, I know she will get a push at the gold. This could definitely save part of the division.

    Right now, WWE seems to finally be listening to the fans by making fresh fueds, and building up the tag team division again but they really need to start working on the Divas Division too. It's sad watching the Divas "wrestle" knowing how good this division was not too long ago. They have the tools, now, they just need to start building which will take major reconstruction.
