NFL Rumors: Terrell Owens Wants To Play in New England
According to sources from the NFL and USA Today , Terrell Owens is interested in becoming a New England Patriot.
Owens has stated that he would take less money to join the team and play with quarterback Tom Brady.
"I'd definitely be open to that," Owens said. "I mean, you've got [Tom] Brady there."

TO even compared to himself to LeBron James in a recent interview.
"I'm like LeBron. I can go there and take less of a role, take less money, and put everything aside and make it work."
Wouldn't that be something? Future Hall of Fame quarterback, Tom Brady, throwing passes to one of the greatest receivers in recent time. But let's be realistic. TO and Randy Moss on the same team is not going to happen.
It would be one great story if TO came to New England and played for a ring, but it wouldn't work. Owens and Moss would be an amazing wide receiving unit, but they both have big egos and it could be difficult for Brady to keep them under control.
Owens, still a free agent, had a significant decline last year in Buffalo. TO only snagged 55 passes and scored five touchdowns.
Although Owens is on a decline, he is career might not be over. Maybe if he were paired up with a great quarterback he could put up big numbers, but just not in New England.
It's an interesting speculation, but it's not going to happen.
