Nexus Comes Home- NXT Recap July 13.

Alberto TejadaJul 14, 2010

Hey guys, I'm back.

Last night was week 4 (or week 5, I really don't know) of NXT. Sometime last week, it was announced that Nexus was going to be there and I thought to myself, "Why did they announce it so early? Couldn't they have announced it the Raw before NXT, or don't announce it at all and make it a surprise?."

Anyway, at the beginning of the show, Barrett said that Nexus was only there to scout the talent, and just like what comes out of most superstars mouths, that was BS. If they were there to scout the talent, couldn't they have done it form their locker room or backstage? So I knew there had to be another reason.

There's one thing I have to mention about the Rookie/Pro tag match. I saw Lucky Cannon attempt a cross-body to the outside and he ended up slamming his face into the steel steps. Was that planned or did he just botch the move?

At the end of the night, on the Percy Watson Show, Percy got his gang of rookies to jump MVP, but luckily, MVP got the pros to help him. Before they could do anything, Barrett said that he and Nexus would love nothing more than to join the fight. Matt Striker immediately came out and made a 20-man battle royal. Barrett then said that Nexus would be more than happy to compete in a match where it's every man for himself.

Right when the match began, Nexus ran outside the ring. After someone got eliminated, Nexus would start pummeling on them. Once the numbers were evened up, Nexus decided to go inside the ring and actually compete in the match. They took everyone out one by one, while Cody Rhodes just sneaked and hid in the background. Rhodes & Nexus were the last one's left.

Before they eliminated him I thought to myself, "Cool, their gonna start eliminating each other."

I couldn't be more wrong.

After eliminating Rhodes they won as a team. What? Are you serious? Didn't Barrett claim that it was going to be every man for himself? How did they win as a team if it was every man for himself?

If there is anything I missed, or if you have anything to tell me, please write it in the comments section below.

Thank you for reading my article and I hope you liked it.
