A Fan's Report From Saints Camp

Something I asked of the forum members is that if they attend any of the training camps around the league that they give us a little report.  Bluewolf did just that on his trip to see the Saints workout.

Well went to my first camp of this year. The crowd was huge Saturday evening. Talked to a lot Louisianans. Well I guess you want me to tell you what I saw. Deuce McAllister was there but he took a lot of breaks, so I didn’t get to see much of him. I guess after the scare he gave everyone Friday they didn’t want him doing much of anything. The little bit I did see he seemed to be doing fine on his knee. It didn’t look to be bothering him that much. That is if walking and running a strait line is any kind of gauge. He didn’t do any cuts on it, sorry. I did notice one thing about Deuce. He looked to be a lot thinner than I remember him from last year. Now Reggie Bush looked good and seemed to be doing a lot better on running though the line picking his holes. He is defiantly a lot faster too me on getting around the corner and wowing the crowd. I don’t know if it is me, but he was bulked up a lot more. Damn he has gotten bigger! Mike Karney and Aaron Stecker received a couple of passes out of the backfield. Looked very good. Pierre Thomas got a little work into. Not to bad.
