NFL's Top 10: Quarterbacks to watch for in 2008

Ya Girl Is Diggin Me Forreal..Jul 28, 2008

Here's a list of the Top 10 QB's to watch for this upcoming season.

1.) Brett Favre -

With all the Brett Favre speculation going on, it's hard to say where he's gonna land, especially with Goodell and the whole Packers organization involved.  Whether it's the Jets or the Bucs, you can be assured that Favre will come out firing.

Fueled by the Packers situation, Favre is easily the top QB to watch for in 2008 (*IF reinstated*).

He comes in on this list at No. 2 simply on a "Free Pass".  He's the defending champ's QB, who's to say that he wouldn't be amped up for a new season after winning a Super Bowl?.

3.) Tom Brady -

As much as I dislike this guy, you can't deny that there is talent in that throwing arm of his.  The sour taste of a "Story Book" season getting destroyed by a WILD-CARD team is still in Brady's mouth.  Look for big numbers this season, but nowhere near 50 TDs this time.

4.) Tavaris Jackson -

Although Jackson could only muster up nine TDs with 12 INTs last season, he reminds me of the healthy prime time Donovan McNabb or Daunte Culpepper.  He's talented when rushed out of the pocket, and has the ability to put some power behind his throws.

Expect the same from this guy.  He just doesn't know when to stop.  He must like those trips to Hawaii every year.

6.) Donovan McNabb -

I expect McNabb to be close to his 2005 form.  He's really been out of the scene with his sports hernia, tendinitis issues, etc.  This year, he claims to be feeling a lot better about his previous injuries.  I am a Philadelphia hopeful, and I'd love to see the Eagles back as a top contender, lead by McNabb.

With Shockey now in the mix, expect opposing defense's to leave a few spot's open on the field for Brees & Co.  This team was a playoff contender without Shockey, imagine them now.

8.) David Garrard -

18 TD with only three INT?. Yes, this guy is good. The transition from Leftwich to Garrard is paying off, and that will continue this upcoming season.

9.) Vince Young -

Even with being in a tough division, Young has still made this Titans offense one to be reckoned with. 17 INT's is a tough thing to get over, but we will see better number's come game day. Whether it's on the ground or in the air, Vince Young has proved that he can get it done.

10.) Ben Roethlisberger -

"BIG BEN" has proven himself time and time again.  He's got a Super Bowl in his rookie season under his belt, and you can expect him to put up more gaudy numbers to follow his 32 TD season.
