Bryan BrackneyAnalyst IJuly 9, 2010
Bryan McIntrye of Mac's Football Blog is reporting that the Tennessee Titans have waived defensive end Jay Moore and tight end Gerald Harris. Moore was drafted in the fourth round of the 2007 draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
Although Moore played defensive end in college, the 49ers planned on using him at outside linebacker in their 3-4 scheme. After several injuries, Moore was finaly released before the 2009 season.
Moore spent the 2009 season on the St. Louis Ram's practice squad. When his contract expired, the Titans signed Moore to a future contract. Harris was an undrafted free agent tight end out of Ole Miss.
