There is a lot of talk around the NHL right now; here is the latest.
Now that the Flyers have signed winger Nikolai Zherdev it becomes more and more clear that they are indeed going to move Simon Gagne. A week or two ago they asked him to waive his NTC and he agreed to waive it. Now it is just a matter of time.
Now that the Kings have once again dropped out of the Ilya Kovalchuk frenzy they can focus on other players via trade such as Tomas Kaberle, Simon Gagne and Marc Savard.

Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
The Penguins are looking for a third line center—I have heard Eric Belanger, Dominic Moore, and John Madden's names come up.
If Paul Kariya decides to play this year—which is expected—the Anaheim Ducks will call him as he is still a good player and great friends with Teemu Selanne. Selanne hasn't announced he is coming back yet but speculation is he will be back this year and maybe even next year.
The Canadiens and Carey Price are talking extension, nothing is close yet but talks are in progress.
With the Maple Leafs signing Brett Lebda, it becomes clear that Tomas Kaberle will be moved. Rumor has it the Kings, Ducks, and Sabres are interested as well as the Devils if they fail to sign Kovalchuk.
