Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Josh Freeman is here to do whatever he can to help the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise, both on and off the field.
Freeman has gone the extra mile in the off-season in the classroom and the training room.
You would expect that from a first-round quarterback not named JaMarcus.
The good news is that Freeman has done even more than that.
He has reached out and wrapped his arms around the Tampa Bay community. He wants to reach out and help high school football players with his summer camps. He is out and about everywhere and he knows he's the face of this franchise.
Here's more good news:
Josh Freeman is a "good guy."
Goodness knows the Buccaneers need one after the exploits of another top pick, Aqib Talib.
Freeman understands that people want to approach him when he's out and about and he's good with that.
He recently said that he can relate, remembering when he was a youngster and how excited he'd be if he saw a famous player.
Freeman "gets it." In this day and age, not many high-profile athletes do.
He's the guy you want to pull for, root for and applaud when he does well. He knows the expectations and understands what is in front of him.
Now hopefully the Bucs will understand and help this guy out.
At this point, the cast around him is clouded with an air of uncertainty.
His best running back has had two knee operations.
His best receiver has two bum knees.
The team won't give his starting left tackle a new contract.
Yes, Josh Freeman is giving it his best, on and off the field.
In this gambling game, he has gone "all in."
Now the Bucs need to do the same and help this guy out.
