Stone Cold Steve Austin Hinted As WWE Raw GM, But Is It True?
Last night on Monday night Raw, WWE had several hints in the anonymous GM's emails indicating that it was in fact Steve Austin.
The WWE recognizes why Steve Austin is a legend and still adored by fans today—using that to their advantage to get people talking and speculating on who the new GM is.
Stone Cold would be an obvious choice to do that kind of job, but I think the WWE is trying to make it too obvious.

That is why I am sure it is not Stone Cold.
Steve Austin is busy filming his next movie and he has another one lined up right after, so it is unlikely he would have anytime to do appearances.
Austin also said that he wants to focus more on movies and put his wrestling life behind him. He is not ashamed of it; he just feels it's time to move on.
The WWE is known for using red herring moves like this to throw off its audience, and in most cases it works, but this is just plain transparent.
They want all the fans thinking it will be Stone Cold just so when they do reveal who it is, it will be a surprise. I am still banking on Michael Cole to be the new GM but some rumors have been going around that WWE is considering Abraham Washington.
This would be a terrible move due to the fact that Washington was not at all liked by the fans during his time in ECW.
His talk show segments were usually met with silence from the crowd. Sometimes he was booed, but mostly it was just quiet.
The new GM needs to be someone who can generate a lot of heel heat because let's face it, good guy GM's never work that well. We need someone higher up to blame for when things go wrong, and that is usually a heel GM like Vickie.
Stone Cold would be awesome to see back in WWE as GM, but I just don't think it will happen.
