The World Cup finals is fast approaching, so lets put together an easy World Cup office pool for this event.

Objective: To score the most points by predicting the outcome of 10  World Cup events.

1) Copy and print the following prop sheet (feel free to add any prop question you want):

World Cup Prop Sheet

Rules: Fill out the following prop sheet and rank each event with a  confidence score from 1-10 in how confident you are that the event will happen.

2. ____         Will their be a shootout? _______________________

3. ____          Will the game go overtime? ___________________________

4. ____         Which team will get the most yellow or red cards? __________________

5. ____         Will there be a goal scored in the first half?  _____________________________

6. ____         Which team will have more shots on goal?  ________

7. ____         Will a goal be scored using any of these methods: a corner kick, free kick, or header? __________________

10. ____      Will there be more or less than 2 1/2 goals scored in the game? ___________

Tie Breaker

Total Score ________

2) Have each participant fill out the prop sheet .

3) Rank each prop by giving it a confidence score from 1 to 10  (10 being very confident that the event will happen and 1 being not confident at all). Two props may not have the same rank.

  • Optional: You can have each prop worth 1 point each.

3) Scoring

  • If a participant correctly predicts the event then they get the number of points equal to their confidence score.
  • If they get the prop wrong they get zero points
  • Maximum points = 45
  • Tie Breaker question: Minute of the first goal

4) The participant who scores the most points is the winner.

If you have any other props that you think would work for the World Cup please email me (dean@officepoolguy.com) or post on the site.
