According to Alex Marvez of Sirius NFL Radio, Jason Campbell has been working out with Brett Favre to get ready for the 2010 season.

Viking fans should be happy as to what little doubt about Favre's intention to return has apparently been erased.

As for Raider fans, well let's just say it's much nicer to hear your quarterback is working out with a future Hall of Famer as opposed to what we've heard the past few offseasons.

This actually comes as no surprise as Favre and Campbell have been fishing buddies in the past and are from the same area of Mississippi.

The two of them also share the bond of having fathers who were coaches and played a big role in getting them where they are today.

Hopefully, Campbell can draw some knowledge from "The Old Gunslinger" and use it to further his career and the cause of the Oakland Raiders.

Wouldn't it be nice to see them meet up for a big game in February? Stranger things have happened!
