My Top 10 Games of the Season

This is my list for my top 10 Blue Jackets games of the season.  You can view the entire schedule here.  What games are you looking forward to?

10 ~ Blue Jackets season opener vs the Dallas Stars.  October 10, 2008 will be a fun day for Blue Jackets fans.  It will be a telling game for us.  We have a tendency to not do well against the Stars, but, with a new look, an amazing coach, and well, a new start.

9 ~ Blue Jackets home opener vs  the Nashville Predators.  October 17, 2008, I hate playing the Preds, we always lose in some miraculous way…but I am still hoping that this season will be different.

8 ~ January 13, 2009 vs the Colorado Avalanche.  The return of him.  I don’t think the boo’s will have ever paraded down so loud.  I can’t wait.

7 ~ November 29, 2008 vs the Washington Capitals.  Ovie, Semin, and Feds come to town.  Can’t wait to see Ovie live!!

6 ~ November 28, 2008 vs the Detroit Red Wings.  It’s always fun to see the defending Stanley Cup Champs.  It’s a good way to measure how we will do, or so they say.  We’ll be pretty far into the season by this point.

5 ~ February 10, 2009 vs the Avs, he is going to come back again.  And, it will be just as fun to boo him as it was the first time.

4 ~ April 11, 2009 vs the Minnesota Wild.  Last game of the season…will we be looking forward to the playoffs or golfing the summer away?

3 ~ October 24, 2009 vs the New York Rangers.  The return of Fritsche and Zherdev, it will be so strange to see them in a Rangers uniform.

2 ~ Novemer 7, 2008 vs the Montreal Canadiens.  My second favorite team, it’s always nice to see the Habs.

1 ~ January 16, 2009 vs the New Jersey Devils.  My beloved (Marty Brodeur) will be in town, and you can bet that I will be right behind his net for the game (well at least for two periods).
