BIG TEN FOOTBALL: Indiana Hoosiers 2008 Season Predictions

Will the Hoosiers make it back to a a bowl game?  Can Kellen Lewis redeem himself?  Is Bill Lynch the right guy for the job?  No Ohio State or Michigan on the schedule can only help, right?

We'll see...  here are my predictions for the Hoosiers in 2008.

8/30     WESTERN KENTUCKY

The big question is whether Kellen Lewis gets the start or is he punished the first week of the season.

Prediction:  Win (31-14)

9/06     MURRAY STATE

An easy win for the Hoosiers.

Prediction:  Win (38-10)

9/20     BALL STATE

The MAC doesn't have enough for the Hoosiers.

Prediction:  Win (28-17)

9/27     MICHIGAN STATE

The first big test of the season.  The Hoosiers fall just short.

Prediction:  Loss (28-24)

10/04   at MINNESOTA

The Hoosiers regroup with thier first road game of the season.

Prediction:  Win (35-10)

10/11   IOWA

Iowa can't stop Kellen Lewis.

Prediction:  Win (31-17)

10/18   at ILLINOIS

Kellen Lewis vs. Juice Williams.  Should be fun to watch.

Prediction:  Loss (31-24)

10/25   NORTHWESTERN

Will the home field advantage be enough against C.J. Bacher and Tyrell Sutton?  Barely...

Prediction: Win (28-27)

11/01   CENTRAL MICHIGAN

An easy win for the Hoosiers after last week's close call.

Prediction:  Win (38-14)

11/08   WISCONSIN

It's nice when you get Wisconsin at home.  Usually...

Prediction:  Loss (20-17)

11/15   at PENN STATE

Penn State is always tough at home.

Prediction:  Loss (28-21)

11/22   at PURDUE

The Boilermakers will be seeking revenge for last year.  They will send Joe Tiller out with a bang.

Prediction:  Loss (34-28)

Final Record 7-5.  Another good season for the Hoosiers who continue to build their program.  Two bowl invites in a row will only help Bill Lynch build this program.
