Bombers finally touchdown a victory

A thrilling come from behind win over the Stampeders Thursday night may be just what the doctor ordered for an ailing Bombers team.  After a frustrating opening month of the season that has seen they're starter Kevin Glenn struggle and the loss of linebacker Barrin Simpson the Bombers needed a win in the worst way. 
After going 0-4 to start the year many were questioning were the real Blue Bombers were the team many had picked to repeat as Eastern champions, Thursday night they got they're answer.  The Bombers stepped up they're game big time on Thursday with Ryan Dinwiddie as the new number one QB.  The offence looked inspired and ready to go from the very beginning, forget the fact that Charles Roberts had another tough day running all that matters Bomber fans is the final score, 32-28 Bombers.  A win that puts them right back in the thick of the Eastern division, and amazingly after only one win they can pending on this weeks results possibly move into a tie for first place with a victory over the Argos next week. 
The Bombers offence under Ryan Dinwiddie seemed alot sharper and alot more confident which is something that was somehow lacking with Kevin Glenn at the helm.  Ryan Diniwiddie seems to be just the spark the Bombers needed to turn they're season around as in his first regular season start he was 24-39 for an amazing 450 yards, 1 touchdown and maybe most importantly 0 interceptions.  A big credit also has to go to the Bomber defence who have also improved week by week holding Calgary's star back Joffrey Reynolds to only 35 yards rushing on 8 carries.  The biggest element probably of Thurday's win was the fact that they did it coming from behind.  After going up25-21 Dinwiddie turned to offence and said we have to put another drive together and put the ball in the end zone one more time.  And low and behold he was right as it appeared to get away from the Bombers when Jermaine Copeland gave the Stamps the lead 28-25 with 52 seconds remaining.  But Dinwiddie and the Bombers refused to lay down as the new number one engineered a 3 play 74 yard drive caped off by a 35 yard td pass to Romby Bryant for a dramatic victory.  The Bombers now have the monkey off they're back and with they're new found confidence who knows what they can do now.
