Fantasy Rankings 2010: Quarterbacks

Bryan BrackneyJun 21, 2010
  1. Aaron Rodgers - Rodgers will have even more experience in his third season as a starter, which makes him even more of a fantasy threat.
  2. Drew Brees - Brees is a very solid option in leagues that give more points for passing yards.
  3. Peyton Manning - Manning will have one more target in 2010 in Anthony Gonzalez than he did in 2009. The Colts younger receivers are maturing fast.
  4. Matt Schaub - I'm not quite sold on Schaub yet. Sure he has Owen Daniels and Andre Johnson, but it's hard to pass when you get no help from your running game.
  5. Tony Romo - The addition of Dez Bryant could put Romo over the top. The Cowboys have all the targets to be a very pass-happy offensive attack.
  6. Phillip Rivers - River's value has dropped a bit because of the potential loss of Vincent Jackson.
  7. Brett Favre - I am positive that Favre will return next season, but I'm still a little worried that his age will catch up to his performance.
  8. Tom Brady - I have Brady lower on my board than a lot of other fantasy writers.
  9. Eli Manning - Manning is getting more comfortable with his young receivers, which will help his fantasy stats in 2010.
  10. Kevin Kolb - Kolb will have a great year in 2010. He is armed with some great play makers that will create a lot of yards and touchdowns.
  11. Joe Flacco - The additions of Dennis Pitta, Donte` Stallworth, Anquan Boldin, and Ed Dickson will help Flacco get some more fantasy production in 2010.
  12. Jay Cutler - Cutler should be valued a lot less than people valued him last season, especially in leagues that have heavy interception penalties.
  13. Donovan McNabb - Devin Thomas is no Jeremy Maclin, but McNabb has preformed well with lackluster receivers before.
  14. Matt Ryan - The return of Michael turner will take a lot of the pressure off of Matt Ryan's shoulders.
  15. Carson Palmer - I'm not sure how much better the additions of Jermaine Gresham and Antonio Bryant will make Palmer, but he can't be much worse.
  16. Chad Henne - Henne was blessed with the addition of Brandon Marshall, who can make almost any quarterback look good.
  17. Matthew Stafford - The Lions worked hard to upgrade their offense this off season, and 2010 could be Matthew Stafford's breakout season.
  18. Matt Leinart - By no means do i think Matt Leinart will blow anyone's mind in 2010, but it is very hard to not put up some numbers when Larry Fitzgerald is on your team.
  19. Ben Roethlisberger - Who would have thought that Chad Henne would be a more popular fantasy choice in 2010 than Ben Roethlisberger.
  20. Matt Cassel - I just don't think Cassel is anything better than an average quarterback. Good quarterbacks can play well with almost any receiver.
  21. David Garrard
  22. Vince Young
  23. Kyle Ortan
  24. Alex Smith
  25. Mark Sanchez
  26. Matt Hasselbeck
  27. Jason Campbell
  28. Jake Delhomme
  29. Matt Moore
  30. Josh Freeman
  31. Trent Edwards
  32. Sam Bradford

Best of the Rest: Byron Leftwich, A.J. Feeley, Seneca Wallace, Kerry Collins, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brian Brohm, Brady Quinn, Michael Vick, Tim Tebow, Tarvaris Jackson, Jimmy Clausen
