Why I Didn't Order Fatal 4-Way PPV

I tend to be a traditionalist when it comes to ordering WWE and TNA pay-per-views. If the hype is good I'm inclined to order the show. If the hype is crap, Vince doesn't get any money from me. 

Fatal 4-Way's hype wasn't great. 

The fact that I don't like Fatal 4-Way matches to begin with didn't exactly help the show's case either.

From what I can tell (from wrestling websites), I didn't miss much.

I might have ordered it had I known in advance that Sheamus would capture the championship. Oh well. 

The go-home shows for both Raw and Smackdown were bad. Sure Raw was better than that three hour viewer's choice mess but the stakes were higher. Plus the unified Raw locker room angle bored me.

The NXT rookies have a shot against a few of the veterans, but not every single face and heel. I don't really understand why the NXT rookies are alone in this. If they attack Edge and Sheamus, wouldn't that turn them babyface? 

Raw isn't exactly crawling with heels...

As for Smackdown, they should have just given up trying to promote the show and instead just renamed it Law & Order: Smackdown for the night.

The Kane angle was far more interesting. 

At least Punk can now become an actual heel. I've always found it strange that people boo a man who goes around saying that drugs and alcohol are bad. PG? 

A Kane/Punk feud isn't my first choice but they both need something to do. 

We all knew that the NXT rookies would interfere with the title match and it's not like they won't do it again on Raw. The feud has a lot of momentum without Danielson. I read that the show went off the air 25 minutes before the top of the hour. 

I'm glad I didn't order Fatal 4-Way. If I paid for a show that didn't even go the full time, it would be the last dime Vince ever got from me.
