Chris Jericho: Epic Plans Ahead?

Hey Bleacherholics!

My favourite ever wrestler of all time? Chris Jericho.

I, along with many others, claim that Jericho deserves more main event exposure despite his growing focus on elevating younger talent.

Chris Jericho is the best of a rare breed.

Unlike the majority of the main event guys within WWE, Jericho eagerly promotes young up-and-coming talent. Some will argue Triple H does so too, however he only helped Sheamus because they were buddies. Chris Jericho does it over and over again. The only other person willing to do this at the moment is Kurt Angle.

I understand why he does so. Despite me wanting Jericho to be in the main event time after time again, he has accomplished nearly as much as a man can. He even stated that once himself, so his goal now is to help the young talent rise.

Now, the reason I talk of his desire to elevate young talent is because he may do it again. Bemused at Jericho not appearing on the Fatal Four Way card, I took it upon my self to do some research.

I eventually found that Jericho is one of two superstars rumored to be the leader of a new faction known as the season one NXT Rookies. Jericho is not on the Fatal Four Way card, but will he debut as the leader?

If this rumor is correct, we may see Jericho once again promoting himself alongside young talent. If he is the leader and the NXT rookies attack Cena or whoever the champion is at that time, Jericho may recapture the WWE title once again.

However, as there is speculated heat on Y2J due to his participation in his new TV show, Downfall, Jericho may lose this role to none other than Triple H and thus the overdue heel turn will be complete.

However, it has come to my knowledge that Triple H may miss Summerslam this year due to recuperation time, which wrecks lucrative plans to have him feud with Edge at the event.

As much as I would like to see Triple H turn heel, I would much prefer Jericho to be the leader and get a shot for the WWE title and win.
