Super Thursday, June 17th 2010: World Cup, NBA Finals, and the US Open
I got up at 6:30 a.m. and let Ms. Pit Bull out. Another bright sunny Florida day in the making.
I have a busy day today, it looks like. I think Ewok has an ear infection, plus Ms. Pit Bull is recovering from a recluse spider bite.
Put Ewok in, and Ms. Pit Bull goes back in the kennel today. She's been relaxing in the A/C inside the last few days, but I'll be home late tonight so out she goes, today.
I have seven dogs. I guess Ewok, the Chow mix will have to get a grooming and see the vet.
The US Open has not started, but I can watch live coverage from my desk on ESPN when it starts around 9:30 to 10:00 o clock a.m. Pacific Time.
World Cup Soccer is rocking with a huge upset by Switzerland over Spain and with the US Team ready to take down thier next opponent after a tie with England in the first outing. USA! USA! USA! There!
Take the 45 minute drive to Fishing Tackle Wholesale where I stay busy during the daylight hours.
I've got to get the owner to put in a claim to BP for our business. We sell fishing tackle, and are located on the Gulf Coast. That should be good for something, as business is wayyyyyy down.
At 4:30 p.m. I go to Summer Bowling League, and will bowl three make up games today, as our team started late. Then League starts at 6:30 p.m. and three more games. Average to date 184 after two weeks back from a five-year bowling hiatus.
After bowling, I can zip right home and watch the Lakers finish off their rival Celtics for a nice repeat of their NBA Championship.
What a great day this is!
