BREAKING NEWS: Utah To Pac 10 Will Be Made Official Tomorrow.

All reports are that as of Thursday June 17th,2010- the Utah Utes will complete the newly formed Pac 12.

 Not only will this add to the conferences football tradition, but also Gymnastics, Skiing and Men's Basketball. All 3 sports that Utah has won division 1 national titles in.

  Utah men's basketball most recently made the final four in 1999, and has made 3 recent sweet 16 trips.

  From a non-football standpoint; Utah makes more sense than Boise State, BYU, or Fresno State.

  This may not be as big as Texas, but in the long run will make more sense.

  The Pac 10 is already the king of conferences overall athletically.

By adding Utah (winner of 2 bcs games) and Colorado(a traditional power with a modern national title under their belts) the Pac 10 will also be unquestionably the strongest football conference in the long run.

Those with memories that stretch back to 2001 or earlier, or any honest college football fan over the age of 30 should know this. If traditional powers really do rise back to the top eventually like the experts always say, then it is only a matter of time for the once proud Colorado Buffalo.

 As far as Utah, the sky is the limit now for this recent Power player now that they have access to California in recruiting.

 The Pac 10 may already be the strongest football conference in 2010, when all is said and done. Oregon, Oregon State,UCLA,Stanford, Arizona and Washington all have enough returning talent to be national players if the cards fall right.

 If a Pac 10 team wins the national title or say the Pac 10 wins 2 BCS games next season,I can only imagine how the rest of the nation will view the new additions. Especially when they see how well the Pac 10 will inevitably be, and Colorado also vastly improving in their last Big 12? season.
