The continuing adventures of Charlie Naimo's Pali Blues soldiered on with a contest against the Colorado Rush at DCG Field #24 of Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City before 150.
While the win streak ended, the unbeaten streak rolled right along as the Blues drew 2-2 with Erik Bushey's Rush on a soggy pitch—the byproduct of inclement weather and rainstorms in the Rockies.
Pali goalkeeper Chante Sandiford made five saves of the day, while Krissy Tribbett made four stops for the Rush.
The Rush attack was led by midfielder Melissa Peck and forward Danielle Foxhoven, who each had a goal to show for it. As for the Blues, Ali Hawkins and Dani Toney continued their torrid run, each accounting for Pali's goals.
Match official Karen Abt was bent on laying down the law, issuing cautions to midfielder Kelly Browne, forward victoria Huster and former St. Louis Athletica defender Sarah Wagenfuhr of the Rush.
Pali's Christie Shaner also got booked for unsporting behavior on Saturday.
