Aric Almirola Wins VFW 200 In Wild Finish At Michigan

Aric Almirola held off Todd Bodine in a close finish to the line to win the VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway. Aric Almirola took the lead after a late race caution setup a restart with less than eight laps to go he made it three wide between Todd Bodine and Kyle Busch and then held off Todd Bodine in a close finish to the line to take the #51 Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra to victory lane for his second win of 2010. Kyle Busch finished in third and Todd Bodine leads the point standings over Aric Almirola by 55 points.

The race was red flagged due to rain at lap 39 and after track drying was complete the race restarted. A good run went bad for Matt Crafton who qualified in the top 5 he had problems on pit road and a engine failure late in the race. Austin Dillon the pole winner also had trouble on pit road and had to serve a penalty. Nelson Piquet Jr brought out a late race caution when he spun off turn 4.
