Danielson Fired: Scapegoat For Segment That Was 'Too Violent'
According to PWPIX.net, Bryan Danielson was released from the WWE for choking Justin Roberts with his own tie. Apparently, someone very important complained to WWE officials about the segment, saying that kids may think it's fun to choke each other. It is unknown who complained, but it had to be someone with a lot of power (brief note: In my opinion, it was probably Linda McMahon, as something like this could be used against her in her political career). The shot of Danielson choking Roberts was removed from replays of the angle and described as 'too violent' for the current WWE. Higher ups, including execs. Donna Goldsmith and Michelle Wilson, were informed of the release before it was announced on WWE.com (brief note: WWE has since removed the story from it's main page and news section, but not from the website itself, possibly because it was kayfabe). It is possible that this was just more 'out of the norm' stuff the WWE have been doing lately, and it's a big storyline, but it's hard to believe they would work the storyline on higher ups in the company. Many people have been speculating that this could just be so Danielson can use his real name, but the WWE used both his NXT and real name in the release story, as you can see here: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/14734694 There are also rumours that the WWE want to bring Danielson back, but only when this whole thing has blown over. What do you think? Is this a storyline, or is it real?
