Montoya Fastest In Rain Shortened Practice At Michigan
Juan Pablo Montoya was fastest in a rain shortened practice at Michigan International Speedway. Jimmie Johnson was fastest in most of the practice but Montoya bumped his way to the top spot in the final minutes before the rain came. The practice session was cut short about 20 minutes with showers and storms possible throughout the weekend.
Juan Pablo Montoya in the Target Chevrolet ran a 38.11 at 188.917 mph ahead of Prelude winner Jimmie Johnson. Kyle Busch in the 18 M&M's Joe Gibbs Toyota is in the garage changing a engine out after Kyle experienced problems.
