Is Mike Tyson Planning a Comeback? The Story Behind His Big Weight Loss!
A superb article by Michael G of The Heyman Hustle has boxing pundits wondering if Iron Mike Tyson is planning on entering the ring one last time. In the article, which was posted earlier today, the writer states
... it looks like the ear-munching former Heavyweight Champion of the World has turned things around by cutting out all meat and animal products, and is strictly a Vegan! The Cannibal turns Herbivore!
No doubt, a Tyson comeback would be a huge pay per view attraction, a great farewell for Tyson and even a potential farewell event for legendary boxing promoter Don King, who is now doing small time internet pay per views while former rival Bob Arum shops around Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Junior.
One has to wonder if former pro wrestling visionary and current member of Team Lesnar (UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar's former wrestling producer and a member of his inner circle) Paul Heyman has a vested interest in Tyson's return, since the article in question was posted on his website. Maybe Heyman has even packaged a deal for Tyson and former WWE EVP Shane McMahon, who left his father's World Wrestling Entertainment in December to pursue other interests instead of waiting to inherit the billion dollar family business.
The article says that Tyson will remain retired, going so far as to say
that he is, much to the dismay of all those seeking just one more demonstration of the ferocious boxer who terrorized the sports world, not planning a comeback. He's just trying to find some inner peace, we're told, which includes spending considerable time raising and racing pigeons (as featured on "Animal Planet" last month), and spending time at home with his wife and children.
However, the story also says Our inside sources insist it isn't going to happen, but the lure of big money (and a Tyson comeback fight would be huge) may be too much temptation for the bad boy from the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York to resist.
So, is Tyson secretly planning a comeback? Even for just one fight? Only that age-old truth-teller time will tell us for sure!
