Jamie Yager Makes It on the Main Card of Finale
According to UFC.com, Jamie Yager's bout with Rick Attonito will be shown live on the main card of The Ultimate Fighter finale shown on Spike TV.
Many assumed that a semifinalist would have received the exposure of fighting live on Spike TV, but I guess this is another example demonstrating that if you act like an ass on a reality show, it pays off.
Yager has made a name for himself this season by insulting and criticizing the rest of the cast, and consistently instigating arguments in the house.
After winning his first two fights by knockout against Ben Stark and Charles Blanchard, Yager refused to come out of his corner after the second round in his quarterfinal match with Josh Bryant.
Not exactly the action of a "fighter" as Dana White continually describes.
Josh Bryant's fight with Kyle Noke seems like the more legitimate bout to air live, since Noke was a favorite to win, and Bryant lost a close fight in the semifinals.
This is just more proof that being controversial and having unique hair will get you far in this business.
Yager vs. Attonito will be the only fight between cast members shown live, besides the tournament final.
