Here are some reasonably available players to assist you in the Strikeouts category. Realize that some of these will come with high ERAs & WHIPs because if a pitcher has low numbers in those categories and a good K total, he is already spoken for.

Luke Hochevar, Kansas City Royals
Hochevar had 28 strikeouts in his past four starts while going 2-2 with a 3.19 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. On the year he’s 5-4 with 4.74 ERA, a 1.38 WHIP, and 54 Ks in 74 innings (6.6 K/9). Luke is owned in 1.2 percent of ESPN and 26 percent of CBS leagues.

Felipe Paulino, Houston Astros
Paulino has 19 strikeouts in his last three starts while going 1-0 with a 1.13 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP. He pitched eight innings each start. On the season Paulino is 1-7 with a 3.82 ERA, a 1.38 WHIP, and 68 Ks in 75.1 innings (8.1 K/9). Felipe is owned in 3.5 percent of ESPN and 14 percent of CBS leagues.

Jason Hammel, Colorado Rockies
