Formula thinking for Alonso for which team to be and stick with

2007 - was a bad/good season for Alonso, it destroyed his reputation as a fighter. Brought despair where ever he turned within McLaren, great drives though but bad publicity. If Alonso didn't do what he did and just really focused on his title defence, he'd be a triple world champion and be regarded as legend in Germany, his already a legend in Spain, most Germans would have loved it if he won it with Mercedes after he blew Schumacher away in 2006.

2008 - nobody wants to be Alonso, having quickly returned to Renault, I'm sure his hoping deep inside if only he could quickly return to McLaren and then return back to Renault in 2009. His only hope for this year, is that Hamilton and McLaren don't win the championships and finish third in both championships. So that he doesn't look bad and make McLaren seem like dumb fools for losing him in the first place.

2009 - My teams to beat for the 2009 season; Williams obviously (making plain chassis is their arena and I'm seeing Toyota focusing on them and leaving their working team) , McLaren (they're probably the most technological advanced team on the grid and can use data collected in the Senna/Prost era), BMW (they've got the edge and might even dominate this new era and beat Ferrari to the top) and lastly Renault (Renault have a huge advantage, they've got Flavio and I'm sure his been on the phone with Adrian Newey and Bob Bell designs fast cars when his in a partnership and most of all next year is gonna be about which engine is the best and Renault along with Ferrari have a strong history in that) Don't expect Honda for 2009, its always broken promises with them but we should really start to expect serious championship contenders from them by 2010 or to be more realistic 2011.

I suspect 2010 will be all about Nelson and Hamilton, lets be honest guys - Piquet is Renaults next hero and I'm sure their focus is gonna be probably on him in 2009 if not 2010. Because I'm sure Renault no longer give a damn about Alonso, with all these Ferrari and Honda rumours and him claiming to have desire to move teams.
