WWE: Is This the Turning Point for Michael "Vintage" Cole?
I hate Michael Cole, with a passion.
Daniel Bryan nailed it right on the nose when he called Cole a "poor man's Jim Ross". However, I couldn't help but smile when I noticed that Cole was suspiciously absent from the NXT beatdown of Raw.
This might be the beginning of a good thing.

Cole's annoying commentary has been a huge reason why I haven't liked Raw that much lately. He doesn't have a personality other than the obvious, which is that he's a huge tool.
This may give him some character.
We won't really know who, or if for that matter, is the mastermind behind the NXT attack. It could be Vince McMahon, William Regal, Chris Jericho, or even JR himself. While I wouldn't be disappointed if it turned out to be Regal or Jericho, I really hope Cole is the one behind it.
Last night's show was an abomination and I turned it off for awhile. I was absolutely shocked and mesmerized when I put in on Tivo and realized what was going on.
For the first time in a long time, I'm actually excited to see what Raw has to offer.
It seems a bit counterproductive to introduce a new season of NXT when the first season's cast hasn't even left the building. I wasn't all that excited about tonight's episode until now. Too bad it's for the wrong reasons.
At least NXT is getting some publicity.
I never thought I would be happy to see Michael Cole potentially involved in an angle. His involvement is not a sure thing but WWE would be foolish to let this opportunity get away from them.
Cole needs this more than anyone...
