Buck, fighting out of Cleveland, has quite a following in attendance and he takes the fight to the ground. Quigley throws up a guard and Buck utilizes a Rampage-like slam.

Quigley stays cool and tries for an armbar after the slam. Buck is peppering Quigley with repeated hammerfists to break the hold on his wrist.  Buck is staying calm and keeps hammering away at Quigley’s face.

Quigley momentarily lets go of the wrist, only to regain control as Buck continues to punch. As the horn sounds to end round one, I’ll score round one for Buck 10-9.

Buck starts round two with a takedown and immediately tries to move to side control. Quigley slips a leg in and gradually regains guard. Quigley is looking for sweeps and appears to be looking for a triangle or armbar with his legs high on Buck’s torso.

Quigley once again grabs for an armbar and Buck stays calm. Buck moves back into the guard and is seems to be resting as the round ends.

Once again, due to control, I’ll score that round 10-9 for Buck.  Quigley will have to end the fight if he wants to take this one as Buck has dominated despite a few submission attempts.

Round 3 starts with Buck showing his striking prowess before pressing Quigley against the cage.  Buck’s family and friends are loud and proud as the fight moves once again to his corner.

Buck scores a takedown via slam and has his coaches literally inches away from him giving advice. buck lets Quigley to his feet  where Quigley takes a southpaw stance. Buck drops down for a single leg and takes Quigley down.

Quigley attempts a last-ditch choke attempt as time expires. This one was a no-brainer to score. Buck all the way. Let’s see if the judges saw it that way.

All three judges give the unanimous decision to hometown fighter RJ Buck. Buck moves to 7-1 while Quigley drops to 5-2.
