UFC 114 POST-FIGHT REPORT

Brian NemethMay 29, 2010

Yours truly from MMA Inside Scoop now gives you the UFC 114 POST-FIGHT REPORT.

I went with Jake Clark and Nader Magribi (producers of the show) to Gasoline Alley bar at 28 North Tejon (between Kiowa and Pikes Peak Ave) in downtown Colorado Springs. As I watched all the action, I took notes of what was going on, so I can deliver you this post-fight report.

Our first fight, and the fourth fight, featured the British vs. the Americans. Fight #1 was a showdown between John "Hitman" Hathaway (British) vs. Diego "Nightmare" Sanchez (USA). Hathaway won by decision.

Fight #4 was a match-up between Michael Bisping (British) and Dan Miller (USA). Bisping won at the end. I guess Bisping and Hathaway DO have the hardcore bad boy caliber of Mick Jagger and Judas Priest.

Todd Duffee faced Mike Russow in Fight #3. There was no sweet crane kick. But with one solid blow, Duffee got the wind knocked right out of him by Russow.

Even though the bar was packed, and rowdy, for the main event (Rampage Jackson vs. Suga Evans), the end result was not what we hoped for.

We all know the inside of a man's body is a gas tank, and testosterone is the gasoline.

However, when Rampage Jackson went Hollywood, his edge went with him. Evans won the fight handily.

However, there was one prediction we did get right. That was Fight #2. Brilz vs. Noguiera. Noguiera won by split decision.

Look America, I'm only the anchor of this prediction show. Jake and Nader got the prediction wrong. But going out to watch the fights and take notes was one thing I did right.

Though our predictions were wrong, I had a fun time watching the fight with the rest of the bar-going MMA crowd.
