Barcelona Won't Pay Over The Odds and Now Arsenal Are The Bad Guys?!

As Arsenal fans wait every morning to see any new news or our Captain Cesc Fabregas I continue to be astounded by some of the things that keep coming up.

Different reports coming in that have just amazed me such as, Barcelona will not be bullied, or Fabregas' dad wishing Arsenal would respect his son's wishes, YAYA TOURE CAN ONLY GO FOR 30-35 MILLION?!?!

So now apparently we are the bullies asking Barcelona to pay a price above market price for a player who is one of the top mid-fielders in the world at his young age and vast amount of experience already.  

If I remember correctly though it has been Barcelona players constantly coming out in the media trying to unsettle the player...Peculiar I know...

Second, the father of Cesc Fabregas came out into the media saying he wished Arsenal would respect the wishes of his son and let him leave.  Well then, go tell Laporta to respect your son's wishes and pay up!

Arsenal aren't going to be pushed around by Laporta, who's low-balling us just because he thinks he deserves a lesser price.  

Still on that subject, why can't Fabregas respect Arsenal because he has a contract with them, why do we have to give all the respect!

Lastly, another article that infuriated me was Barcelona saying that if Toure were to leave it would be for no less than 30 million...THE SAME PRICE AS THEY ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR FABREGAS...in the words of Chun-Li from Street Fighter "What's going on here!"

Talk about overvaluing a player!  Toure has a tough time getting off the bench at Barcelona and is four years older than Fabregas...

So why can Barcelona overvalue their players and get away with it, but when we ask for a high price for our best player, our captain, and one of the best midfielders in the world, we overvalue and are criticized?

I stay up and think about it every night while playing FIFA 10 and beating Barcelona with Arsenal.
