Report: WWE To Clamp Down On Anti-Irish/Racist Wrestling Fans

According to today’s The Irish Sun/The Sun UK Newspaper, WWE have hit back over vicious racist attacks on WWE RAW Superstar, Sheamus. On page 27 of the Irish version of the newspaper it notes that bosses of World Wrestling Entertainment have promised action after Sheamus was branded a “f****** leprechaun” on web forums. The WWE also vowed it would ban the fans who use racial remarks from their live shows.

A spokesman said: “World Wrestling Entertainment does not condone racism in any form. Anyone who engages in this type of anti-social behaviour will be ejected from any of our live events and removed from WWE.com forums.”

The WWE themselves have told Sheamus to ignore the campaigns and protests to have him fired from the WWE. Users on forums have posted some nasty remarks on Sheamus including the following below:

“Well as we all know, Sheamus needs a tan. The second thing we know is he’s a weak Irish f***** who thinks he’s the best just because he won the WWE Championship. He should have just stayed there eating potatoes, the f******* leprechaun”.

“What in the name of God is he saying? I can’t understand his goddamned accent half of the time. What is a f****** Irish guy thinking coming here and trying to be the man? It’s a joke.”

“Oh my God, is that the way they talk over there? No wonder they’re all drunk all the time!! Sheamus should have just stayed the f*** over there, he shouldn’t be on TV. They should kick him out and send him home.”

Sheamus meanwhile has vowed to return to Ireland one day as the WWE Champion. He said, “For me winning one WWE Championship is not enough, I want more. I’m driven and I’m hungry for more. My greatest dream is to bring the WWE Championship back to Ireland and it’s only a matter of time before it happens.”

This seems to be a double edge sword.

WWE, a company that just two months ago had Jerry Springer on Monday Night Raw, and had a segment on their “PG Rated” show teasing Transsexuals, Lesbians and so on.

Or what about the night WWE decided to have Cheech and Chong as guest host of Raw, I got high just watching my Television set.

But yet, they think their biggest issue is the WWE Universe expressing their opinion about a “Heel Wrestler” on the WWE Roster?

It’s funny, why aren’t they taking a look at their own shows that they produce weekly and are watched by 5million+ around the world. They are the ones writing Homosexual skits, Marijuana Skits, shoot you can take a look at Smackdown.

Every, Friday night on Smackdown; the top “Heel” is a wrestler by the name of CM Punk and he is a leader of a group called the “Straight Edge Society (SES),” the WWE writing team made them the bad guys, and guess what the group promotes?

No sure?

SES Promotes the following: Don’t Do Drugs, Don’t Drink, Live A Righteous Life.

Why are they portrayed as the bad guys? Hmm. You would think that would be something WWE & Vince McMahon would take a look at, after all this is a family show, or at least I thought it was.

Are you kidding me? If the WWE would actually spend more effort and time producing a quality product and not on ridiculous sh*t like this, maybe I would be able to stand to watch their product week in and week out.

The WWE continues to put effort on the smallest things in their company, I mean, DAMN! Why not, spend some more time, working on creative, and not on trying to protect Linda McMahons "Senate Run."

To Vince & WWE Creative, mostly Vince: Don’t take away our right to dislike and like wrestlers just cause you don’t like the implications, and if you don’t like the implications take a look at your own product and eliminate the politically incorrect sh*t that you produce on a weekly basis.

In my book that is called a hypocrite.

And thats your double edge sword, folks.
