Update: Speed reported on television Friday from Charlotte that Brian Vickers will miss 6 months after being diagnosed with blood clots before the Dover race last weekend. During a press conference held on Friday the announcement was made that he will likely miss the rest of the season and Casey Mears will drive this weekend at the All Star Race. Future plans have yet to be announced. Best wishes go out to Brian Vickers and hopefully he will have a speedy recover and be back on track.
