Kobe Bryant appeared as himself on ABC's hit sitcom Modern Family. It was a great episode, but I wasn't convinced Kobe was in the moment. He seemed to rely on his own emotional experiences too much to play this role. I just couldn't believe him as an NBA basketball star. However, Sofia Vergara can play any role on any show on TV.
