No Phantom Fix in Sight: 20 Names Expected To Be Release From TNA

The PhantomMay 20, 2010

It has been reported by several wrestling news organizations, among them www.wrestlinginc.com , that TNA officials have advised Dixie Carter that she must release 15 to 20 names in the company for "extensive cost-cutting measure."

It is said that Carter is against cutting any one from the roster, especially from the Knockout Division.

This division in particular has been hit hard, with injuries to Daffney and Angelina Love. The division has also seen the departure of Tara in recent weeks, but brought back Roxxi this past week to stop the bleeding, so to speak.

While the Knockouts appear to be safe, what does this mean for the rest of the roster?

According to sources from www.wrestlinginc.com , Dixie Carter has been heard saying that she does not want to release talent that have been with the organization for a long time or have remained loyal throughout the years.

The next logical question to ask is: who is on the chopping block?

TNA fans who have a dissatisfied taste with Hogan and The Band, may want to see them out the door. While this may be unlikely due to the relationship between Hogan, The Band, and Dixie Carter, one thing that is certain is that business is about to pick up in TNA's front office.

If the reports are true, who do you think should be release by Dixie Carter and TNA?
