Martin Truex Jr Wins Cup Pole For Autism Speaks 400 At Dover Speedway
Martin Truex Jr earned his fifth career pole and the third for Toyota in 2010 on Friday in qualifying from Dover International Speedway. Truex Jr put the #56 Napa Toyota on the pole for Michael Waltrip Racing with a lap at 23.56 @ 157.315 mph. Truex Jr is a former Dover winner he won at the Monster Mile in June of 2007, and looks to get his first win at MWR and the first since that win three years ago.
Todd Bodine and Max Papis missed the show in knockout qualifying they will go home and Casey Mears qualified the #83 Red Bull Toyota in 39th. Brian Vickers will miss Dover due to a medical condition.

Last week's winner Denny Hamlin qualified 14th for Dover. Jeff Gordon hopes to snap a winless streak this weekend at Dover he will start 15th. Dale Earnhardt Jr won at Dover in 2001 but starts 27th on Sunday. Kevin Harvick the Sprint Cup point leader starts in the 31st position.
Will Jimmie Johnson score his fourth win of 2010 at Dover and start a comeback after a few tough races for the Lowes 48 team?. Johnson has five Dover wins and sweep both events last year. Happy is Saturday on Speed from Dover before the Nationwide Series race.
