Chelsea-Wigan Athletic: Chelsea Romps 8-0 to Claim Third Premier League Title
After a long 38 match marathon, we finally know that Chelsea have won their third Premier League crown since the league's inception back in 1992 by defeating Wigan Athletic by a 8-0 score.
And despite the fact that Manchester United beat Stoke City at Old Trafford by a 4-0 score, they have ultimately finished second in the Premier League this season by one point to Chelsea.
This result has ended the Red Devils streak of consecutive Premiership titles with three, they will have until next year to break Liverpool's record of 18 first division championships.

Arsenal Reach Champions League Final
The match between Chelsea and Wigan started off as an entertaining match, but Nicolas Anelka was able to strike first for Chelsea, scoring off a redirected free kick in the sixth minute as the rout begun.
After Anelka's goal, Wigan slowly started to build up possession but any chance of Wigan even getting a result ended in the 31st minute when Gary Caldwell tackled Frank Lampard in the penalty box.
As a result, Caldwell got sent off and Lampard nailed the ensuing penalty into the back of the net, giving Chelsea the 2-0 lead, which all but gave Chelsea the Premier League title.
And as the first half ended, Wigan were reluctant to attack despite holding onto the football for 56 percent of the half.
But as the second half begun, Chelsea made Wigan look like a side of amateurs, as Chelsea got their first goal of the second half via Salomon Kalou in the 54th minute.
And after Kalou's goal, the floodgates opened, as Anelka was able to score another goal two minutes later, and Didier Drogba got to 29 goals for the season with an impressive 17 minute hat trick.
With Drogba's final goal in the 80th minute, Chelsea held a 7-0 lead, but that was still not enough as Ashley Cole put the cherry on top to give Chelsea an 8-0 win.
With the win, Chelsea have now clinched their third Premier League trophy overall, and first Premier League trophy since 2006 when Jose Mourinho was in charge of the club.
Throughout this season, Chelsea have proven that they are worthy of winning the Premier League title by taking the full 18 points possible from Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool along with three points against Tottenham.
They also have been nearly perfect at home this season, as Chelsea have gained 52 points out of a maximum of 57 at Stamford Bridge, with only Everton and Manchester City taking points from Chelsea at the Bridge.
And of course now with Didier Drogba winning the Golden Boot with his 29 goals, great goalkeeping from Petr Cech and a great year from everyone else on the roster, Chelsea have truly deserved to win the Premier League.
But the biggest accolade has to go to manager Carlo Ancelotti, who has helped Chelsea build off their fantastic end to last season with this Premier League trophy in his first season in England after leaving AC Milan last June.
And now with this thrashing of Wigan, the Blues have clinched the first half of a potential league double, as they head down to Wembley Stadium on Saturday to take on Portsmouth in the FA Cup final.
