Paul Daley and Kimbo Slice cut from UFC roster

Following their respective losses at UFC 113, President Dana White has cut Paul Daley and Kimbo Slice from the organization's roster.

Daley, who lost a unanimous decision (30-27 all three judges) to Josh Koscheck, hit the American after the fight - most probably out of anger and hatred. Commentator Joe Rogan quipped that it was the best shot that Daley threw all night.

White, unwilling to have disrespect in his organization, chose to release the British fighter, saying that there is never a reason to hit a guy after the bell.

"He's done," White said. "I don't give a [curse] if he's the best 170-pounder in the world - he's never coming back.

White explained that Daley could fight in every other organization and become the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and he still would not resign him to the UFC.

Slice's second-round TKO loss to Matt Mitrione marked just the second loss in his career - and first inside the Octagon. Last year, he made his way through The Ultimate Fighter 10, and after losing his initial fight, continued to train hard, working on his ground game. However, White still signed him to the UFC and respected his attitude.

Against Mitrione, Slice threw some strong punches, but not many connected. Throughout the fight, Slice became tired quickly, and Mitrione's kicks were getting the best of Slice's legs. Once on the ground, Mitrione was able mount and tee off, throwing punches to his opponent's head.

"Tonight, he got beat by Matt Mitrione," White said. "Mitrione was 1-0, and he came in and took Kimbo out tonight."
