UFC 113 Pay-Per-View Play-by-Play: Kimbo Slice (4-1) vs. Matt Mitrione (1-0)

1st Round 

This heavyweight bout is being refereed by Dan Miragliotta. 

Mirione comes out and misses with a high head kick. Kimbo lands a right hand and slams Mitrione to the ground. 

Mitrione locks up a triangle choke as he is slammed to the ground again. Kimbo fights out of the original attmept breaking out again and is in side control. 

Kimbo lands an elbow to the head of Mitrione. Kimbo hits with another elbow while on top. Mitrione grabs the head of Kimbo. Kimbo stands up with Mitrione and is tangled up with him against the fence. 

Kimbo puts Mitrione on his back and is in full guard. Kimbo works the body of Mitrione as Mitrione looks for the triangle choke. 

Kimbo allows Mitrione to stand up. Kimbo hits with a right hand and Mitrione misses with a head kick. Mitrione hits with a knee and a leg kick. 

Kimbo is dropped with a right hand and is locked in the choke, but the bell sounds and saves Kimbo.

2nd Round 

Kimbo looks tired as the middle round is underway. 

Mitrione lands a combination as Kimbo grabs a body lock. Mitrione backs up against the octagon fence and misses with a knee. Mitrione hits with a leg kick and another. Kimbo throws a kick of his own. 

Mitrione drops Kimbo with a leg kick, but Kimbo gets up and connects with a combination. Mitrione hits with another leg kick. 

Kimbo ties up with Mitrione and goes for a takedown. Mitrione lands a knee on the ground and takes side control. Mitrione takes control of Kimbo’s head and lands a knee to the midsection of Kimbo. 

Mitrione is now on top and trying to take his back, instead he mounts Kimbo and lands several unanswered strikes to the head. 

Mitrione goes for the kimura and goes back to landing punches to the head and finished him with ground and pound.
