Mike Scioscia’s boys have been one of the more disappointing teams in the league for sure and are not looking very good at all but I’m fine with them today.

Joe Saunders is a little feast or famine and the lefty therefore can’t always be trusted but more times than not he is solid and should be just that against the weak hitting Mariners. Ichiro is great as always but Seattle’s offense is fairly atrocious and it’s hard for them to muster much of anything. This alone should make Saunders look great but the southpaw has decent enough stuff and the potential to look good against solid lineups.

The Halos are going to start winning as guys like Matsui, Abreu, Kendrick and Morales are very good and I would not be all that surprised to see them get to Mr. Fister and knock him back down to Earth a bit today in the great northwest.

I can’t call this the lock of my life at all as the Angels are just not playing a very high level but we are probably getting a team that should be the favorite at a quality underdog price and I can never complain about that.
